Equity actors for roles in Theatre's 2024-25 LOA and SPT seasons. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See breakdown below. Rate: LOA / SPT $664 weekly minimum (LOA Ref. to LORT) - 2023-24 rates. $638 weekly minimum (SPT 7) - 2023-24 rates. Additional info: Callbacks will begin April 24, 2024. Female-Identifying. A woman stuck in her life as an unhappily married waitress in a small town. Finds some refuge through her meticulous baking of pies and her friendships with her coworkers, Dawn and Becky. Lives her life paycheck-to-paycheck, day by day, and wants nothing more than to escape to a fresh start. Has a fantastic pop/rock voice with great range. "WAITRESS"
Female-Identifying. She youngest of the waitresses — eccentric is the nice way to say that she’s slightly unusual, and not so slightly OCD. She sets the tables, painstakingly ensuring each salt and pepper shaker is equidistant from the napkin holder. Has an excellent pop/rock/folk voice. "WAITRESS"
Female-Identifying. The oldest of the three waitresses. Irreverent, irascible, been there, made it back, and somehow kept her forward and sometimes wicked sense of humor with excellent comedic timing. Has a soulful pop voice with an excellent pop belt. "WAITRESS"
Male-identifying. Handsome and endearing, with a warm, slightly clumsy bedside manner. Jenna’s gynecologist with whom an unexpected extramarital affair is born. Has a quirky sense of humor and a big heart. Has a very strong pop/rock tenor. "WAITRESS"
Male-Identifying. Jenna’s husband. Peaked in high school, handsome in a gruff way, but that face is clouded with broken dreams, drowned with cheap beer. Just enough narcissism mixed with stupidity, to be a potent Molotov cocktail that can explode into unexpected anger one second and then turn into a sobbing mess the next. Guitar playing a plus. Male-identifying. The owner of the diner where Jenna, Dawn, Becky, and Cal work. A seemingly old, curmudgeonly man who has a soft spot for Jenna (and her pie), warm at heart. A sarcastically funny and no-nonsense guy with a keen ability to read people. "WAITRESS"
Male-Identifying. A chef at the diner. A “Salt of the Earth” guy’s guy surrounded by women. Brash, impatient, unsentimental, but some how charming. Has a strong pop/rock voice with great comedic timing. Has a strong baritone pop/rock sound. "WAITRESS"
Female-Identifying. A registered nurse at the doctor’s office where Dr. Pomatter works. She is secretly aware of his affair with Jenna and is a fan of the pies she brings to the office. Appealing, steady, evenhanded, benevolent host of the play and the dramatic equivalent of an omniscient narrator. Grounded with a clear wisdom. Exercises control over the action of the play, cueing the other characters, interrupting their scenes with their own interjections, and informing the audience of events and objects that we cannot see. Male-identifying. Dr. and Mrs. Gibbs’s son. All-American boy, sincere, agreeable, polite, respectful, decent, and upstanding young man, but not very good at book and school learning. A loving person - but not very good at expressing those emotions - and perfectly happy to stay on the farm. "OUR TOWN"
Female-identifying. Mr. and Mrs. Webb’s daughter, George’s neighbor, love interest, fiancée and then wife. Bright, articulate, conscientious and vivacious person who shares some of her mother’s anxious nature. "OUR TOWN"

Male-identifying. Emily’s loving father and a caring husband, the publisher and editor of the local paper, the Grover’s Corners Sentinel. Good sense of humor. Kindly, demonstrative and sympathetic. Female Identifying. Mrs. Kimball is Scrooge’s loyal housekeeper. She is older and no-nonsense, but for some reason continues to work for Scrooge despite his measly pay. Male Identifying. Nobel Peace Prize-winning Civil Rights Movement leader. Awe-inspiring, charming, and powerful with a brooding intelligence and almost hidden vulnerability. He can sometimes present as older than his true age. While being a brilliant orator, impassioned preacher, and a fearless leader, he is more than the hero in our history books. Brewing underneath is a human carrying all the vulnerability, fear, and weariness of an unquenchable lust for life. "THE MOUNTAINTOP"
Female Identifying. A young maid at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. She is charming, confident and MLK’s equal. And although deeply human and vulnerable, there is much more to her than is first revealed. She owns the power of her convictions and sensuality, with an “otherworldly” strength. Carries a secret.
