Audition For Singing in "Sister Act"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Seeking actors to perform in the "Sister Act" show. Kindly review the breakdown below. Additional info: Possible Callbacks: Wednesday- May 15th • 7 pm. Performances: Fri., August 16th • 8 pm; Sat., August 17th • 2pm & 8pm; Sun., August 18th • 2 pm; Fri., August 23rd • 8 pm; Sat., August 24th • 2pm & 8pm; Sun., August 25th • 2pm; Please prepare your 2 vocal selections as described above. Bring sheet music in the appropriate key and clearly marked for the accompanist. Backing tracks are NOT allowed. Please no Acappella selections. You may or may not be asked to sing our selection from the show. You may be asked to return to a callback on Wednesday. Please bring a resume and all known conflicts. An aspiring performer, trying to find both fame and a place in the world. When forced to hide in the convent, she initially refuses to embrace her new lifestyle but learns to embrace it when she works with the choir. Loud-mouthed, and sassy, but ultimately caring. The head of the convent, sarcastic and a bit stiff. Extremely protective about keeping her sisters away from the outside world, which puts her in direct opposition to Deloris and her musical teachings. Vocal range top: E5 Vocal range bottom: D3

A nun of the convent. Consistently perky, enthusiastic, and easily excitable.

The desk chief at the Philadelphia police station and a high school classmate of Deloris who helps get her into hiding. Faces a lot of nerves when under pressure, causing him to sweat profusely.
