Acting Audition for "Sense of Belonging" Short Film

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. A short film called "Sense of Belonging" is currently in need of a cast. More details are below. About the project: A collection of short scenes expanding throughout a South Asian woman's journey about her life and how she gets comments regarding how she lives, how her body is, and what is right for her family by society's standards. Rate: This is an UNPAID. NON-UNION production. Food and demo reel footage provided. Credit (TBD). Additional information: Shots Days: June (TBD). Auditions Open Until: April 25th, 2024 11:59 pm. Looking for: Mainly POC for this production (but everyone is welcome to apply). South Asian actors are the main roles and speaking or knowing Punjabi is an asset for this production. Roles (all roles will be double cast). Acting experience is not necessary. Knowing Punjabi is an asset for main roles.
