About the project: Plot: A parody-esque episodic sitcom series based on Disney characters’ post Hollywood productions. The untold stories of real human relationships after the camera’s stopped filming. Synopsis: After some purposeful time away from the big screen, the Disney Princes, who are all friends, reunite at Beast’s new bar “The Rebellion” for a witty banter about the relationships which they are in. Finally getting voices of their own, they rant and muse about their lives and partners; many of which make an appearance in this intriguing “Pilot”. Don’t miss the untold stories of awkward relationships and family issues told from the prince’s perspectives. Rate: Open to Union and non-union actors. Unpaid. Additional information: Location: Montreal. Date: Mid to late June. Main roles from “Pilot” will have a minimum of 2 episodes. Principal roles will have 1 episode each after the “pilot”. Looking to prioritize the offer roles to a diversified cast who are culturally representative. Roles are open to all ethnicities that link with those of the movie characters. Prince Adam is a big, tall husky man, owner of the bar for the main setting. He’s a big, strong-looking teddy-bear of a man who has a soft heart and offers much advice for his friends. Always positive, he hides his true emotions behind a big smile and loud enthusiasm.
AL is small, yet athletic looking very cool and down to earth guy. Facing some emotional turmoil in his new life married to Jasmine, he seeks to find his place and come to terms with the new changes in his life.
Eric is an average build dark-haired guy at odds with what he is looking for in his future. His insecurities and uncertainty in his life
Naveen is person of color who is of average height and build. He is the last member of the core friend group who always gets a little bit insulted and feels outcast though he really wants to be one of “the guys”. He is naïve and a bit childish and not always taken seriously though he tries to earn is place. He is also overshadowed by his partner (Tiana) and often feels as though he is not good enough.
Henry is of average size and build with blond hair and blue eyes. Although he used to be a young confident and strong male figure, he is now depressed, salty and drinks too much. He feels hopeless and alone as he tries to navigate a relationship where he is falling out of love.
She is a short dark-haired/ eyed woman with an olive complexion. In this series she is pregnant (although actress need not be, because it will be simulated). She is loving and comforting but stressed about this new adventure in their lives.
She is a woman of color to is strong and confident and independent. She is the life of the party and “one of the guys”. She exudes and aura of flirtatious enthusiasm and is a strong advocate for female empowerment. She is also very comforting and a good listener and gives advice when needed.
She is a sweet little red-haired woman who seems young and naïve one the outside but has a strong-willed mind of her own. She is athletic and adventurous but still feels the looming aura of her father’s dominance.
