From fending off predatory advances to navigating exploitative employment situations, she confronts the systemic pressures that leave women with limited choices. The film poignantly captures Sonya's emotional turmoil, highlighting the toll of societal pressures and the stark options she faces for survival. Shedding light on the systemic issues behind sex work, the story offers a compelling narrative that resonates with the struggles of many facing similar circumstances.
