NATIONWIDE CASTING CALL. The company is searching for a Content & Communications Marketing Specialist to join the marketing team and be responsible for the development and amplification of the brand and product content as directors continue to grow their presence across the industry. More details are below. Additional information: Scope of the Role: This role will require a marketer with superior writing skills who can communicate the brand vision and product offering in a compelling and comprehensive manner. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, passionate about market research and software and demonstrate superb communication skills. Role Responsibilities: Generate, edit, publish and share content that builds meaningful connections and encourages audience engagement; Execute social media strategy through competitive research, benchmarking messaging and audience identification; Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules; Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate data/metrics, insights and best practices and then acting on the information; Collaborate with other departments, providing materials they need and expert advice to communicate with customers in a manner that aligns with company messaging Identify industry influencers and coordinate action for outreach and collaboration; Help identify the latest trends, insights and technologies affecting the industry; Support the operations of the marketing team with other initiatives as required. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 3+ years of recent experience in content marketing, social media marketing, copywriting or a related position. Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills. Must have market research industry experience and/or B2B tech marketing experience. Demonstrable social marketing experience (Linkedin, X, TikTok, YouTube) and social analytics tools knowledge. Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment, work independently and track and manage personal targets. Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or Public Relations would be considered an asset. Experience with email and marketing software would be considered a bonus (such as Pardot, Mailchimp and Salesforce). This position is open to all applicants located in Canada, although preference will be given to those located in Ottawa and those willing to work within the Eastern Time Zone.
