Actors Needed for "Four Weddings and an Elvis" Play Audition
The production of "Four Weddings and an Elvis" needs performers. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Sandy, the four-times-married-three-times-divorced owner of a wedding chapel in Las Vegas, has certainly seen her fair share of matrimonies! In the hilarious Four Weddings and an Elvis, we witness four of her funniest! Rate: Actors will be paid a stipend. Additional info: Will consist of cold reads from the script. Last-minute walk-ins are welcome but may have to wait a while as scheduled auditions will take priority. Please be sure to update/remove your timeslot in the event that you can no longer attend. Headshots and resumes are recommended. Rehearsals Rehearsals will typically be Saturday afternoons Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings. Other than the role of Sandy, most actors cast will only need to attend one to two rehearsals per week through April. So, flexibility is available for rehearsal schedules. "Wedding #1: The Payback" Recently dumped and planning a revenge marriage, but actually in love with Stan. Naïve and romantic
"Wedding #1: The Payback" Dumped by his wife, planning to marry the ex of the guy who Stole his wife but actually still in love with his ex. Also double as camera man in act 3.
"Wedding #1: The Payback" Sensitive minister who works next door. Should be able to do a good Elvis Impersonation (a cappella singing and Elvis style dance moves will be requested at auditions). This character/actor may also have live improv-style business during intermissions.
"Wedding #2: The Comeback" A fading actress who saw her glory days in a beach-blanket spy vs spy sitcom. Well-kept glamour. “Recovering” alcoholic who with a bossy vibe.

"Wedding #2: The Comeback" The minister. A recent widow trying to find purpose. A former Elvis impersonator (does not need to be good).
"Wedding #3: The Real Thing" A tough ex-con who was recently paroled and united with her postman pen pal love.
"Wedding #3: The Real Thing" A gentle ex-postal worker: A walking postal code encyclopedia. He sees the real person inside behind the exterior.
"Wedding #3: The Real Thing" Scary friend of the bride. He is brutish felon who punches first and thinks later – much later.
