Isaac, a quiet, dreamy aspiring comic book artist has suffered an accident that left his body completely covered in bandages. Facing the news of his imminent death, he decides to live his final days doing the one thing he finds truly important to him: finishing the comic book he writes with his best friend Katana.
Katana is a bold, self assured person. Her mother’s death in her childhood made her strong-willed, yet avoidant. She dresses colorfully to hide the sadness that still lingers inside her. Now, facing the death of Isaac, her best friend, she will have to delve deep to find her inner strength and courage to face her demons.
Miranda, Isaac’s mother, is a caring mother. Tired from the struggles of a single mother she now faces the biggest challenge of her life, the imminent death of her only son. Her character goes from grief to acceptance as her son’s final days conclude.
A medical professional, Dr. Jacob is serious yet caring with his patients. He delivers the bad news to Isaac but tries his best to find alternatives to help him survive.
