"A Web Of Lies" Short Movie Casting Actors

About the project: Logline: A man suffering from compulsive obsessive behavior is tortured in his attempt to return to a murder that never happened. Rate: Unpaid, this is a passion project. Additional info: Both Tom and Jennifer will be involved in doing very small acting stunts. These include Tom strangling Jennifer, both swing baseball bats indoors, and Jennifer seeming to fall to the ground from a shove. Directors will not have you actually fall to the ground or be strangled. If you are interested, please apply. Directors will follow up about headshots and resumes, and they'll send out audition sides. Directors ask that you record yourself acting out the scene they send.

Average/Bipolar - a reclusive artist who sketches everything he sees. Has a deep dark temper that is revealed when he attempts to kill his girlfriend over her cheating on him. He has OCD and has been trained to forget what he has done via a therapist and his father. He now has a nagging feeling to go back but can’t place it. But, he can go from being a kind individual to mean within seconds.
Average/Kind but Edgy - a kind woman who has a passion for Tom but cheated on him because of the disconnect she has started to feel toward him. She has remorse about what she did, but after Tom kills her dog and attempts to kill her, she becomes angry and intense, which turns into revenge.
(V.O. Only, you will not be on camera, must have equipment to record) - Firm Personality - A narcissistic man who will do what he needs to in order to protect his son.
Dog with its owner - Friendly dog who will sit on the couch or floor with Tom and Jennifer. Also need the dog to run to the kitchen and behind an island. Directors will also need to take a few Polaroid photos of the dog with Tom and Jennifer. The dog will need to be up-to-date with its vaccinations (will need to provide paperwork). No harm will come to the dog.
