About the project: Genre: Dark comedy/ Thriller Synopsis: Maxinne, a determined FBI agent, faces sexism and belittlement from her colleagues after a promotion goes to her coworker Brad instead of her. The following day, Maxinne gets caught dragging Brad's body and fakes distress. Jake, another agent, arrives and Maxinne explains Brad's sexism and misconduct. She manipulates Jake's sympathy and manages to take out Jake the same way Maxinne killed Brad. The narrative ends with Maxinne's unsettling stare as she realizes she still won't get the promotion and must “deal” with her Director, leaving her future uncertain. Rate: Non-union. Lead. Maxinne, a desk worker, has struggled her whole life trying to rise through the ranks with sexism being a huge problem inside the FBI. Maxinne has already accepted that this is the only way to solve her problems so there is no second guessing or insecurity about her. Determined towards her goals, Maxinne has gotten to the point where murder is morally ok.
Supporting. Boss of the FBI, Howard is a nonchalant character who is unaware of what's going on within his organization. Thinks he is the most chivalrous person alive.
Supporting. Snarky and egotistical, Brad gets the promotion over Maxinne and will boast to anyone that will listen to him. Will also play Brad after Maxinne has killed him (laying on ground for multiple hours).
Supporting. Naive, easily manipulated but intelligent-looking, Jake is first to discover Maxinne on the stairs and believes anything and everything that comes out of her mouth.
Supporting. Intelligent, good looking, and a little tipsy.
