Casting Actors for "Catharsis" Horror Short Film

Is unhappy in every aspect of his life. His work as a hospital janitor and home life is all he has and he cannot stand it. He wears his emotions on his face; usually an expression of fed up and seemingly far away. The tortured artist type, he spends his time alone in his shed creating art depicting death and destruction. Meek at first, he slowly gains confidence as his actions amplify.

Don's wife, who is also having an affair with their neighbor Randy. She is a out-of- work hand model that expects a lot from Don; wearing him thin and not being there for him emotionally.

The neighbor of the married couple. He spends most of his time working on his motorcycle in the next door driveway. He also helps himself into Don's shed and uses his tolls as he pleases, while being condescending to Don and sleeping with Bridgette.

The source of Don's inspiration. She is dying in a hospital with a bleak, nihilistic outlook on life. She encourages Don to stand up for himself; causing him to spiral into madness.
