About the project: A high school coming-of-age dramedy set in 2005 amid the height of the pop-punk/emo era. It tells the story of Hayley, a high school junior and lead singer of her garage pop-punk band, days before the county-wide Battle of the Bands where a free recording session is the prize. However, her parents informed her that, because of a job reassignment, they are moving in less than two weeks. In fact, the day AFTER the Battle of the Bands. So how do you, as a 17 year-old, tell your best friends and bandmates that not only are you leaving them for who-knows-where but the band that you've spent the last couple of years toiling over and falling in love with has an expiration date? Rate: Non-union/Paid ($180/day), IMDb Credit. Additional info: Filming dates: April 5-15, and July 6-15. Location: Columbia and Ellicott City.
