Paper Dolls The Movie Secondary Roles Talents Needed
A film version of the coming of age series "Paper Doll$," in which girls from varying backgrounds, households, and lifestyles come together to form a club ("Paper Doll$"), but have to navigate through challenges in school and their personal lives to sustain this club. Plans to submit to festivals and other platforms. Infini Entertainment is responsible for several independent films such as It Takes a Village. Shoots from late February in South Suburbs of Chicago. Hope to go no longer than April, but depends on weather conditions. Pay is a stipend with amount to be determined and based on the type of role. You will get your stipend if and when you complete your role. Meals provided for 4 hours. Otherwise, will provide refreshments. Note: The stipend might not be a large amount as there are lots of cast members involved and we don’t know yet the financial results of the project. Take this into consideration before auditioning and/or joining. IMDb credit provided for role you complete.

Monica’s newest, mysterious boyfriend and rival of Jordan. Looks 14-18. Warning: This role contains content such as profanity and rebellious behavior.
Football player at the high school (Kensington's teammate) and Tasha's love interest. Football skills recommended but not mandatory. Looks 14-18.
Candy's love interest and member of the high school band and baseball team. Baseball and playing an instrument recommended as skills but NOT MANDATORY. Looks 14-18.
Paper Doll Shaniyah's love interest, Kevin is a student at the Paper Dolls' High school and is just as into the trickery and mischief as Shaniyah is. Looks 14-18. No kissing or intimacy, at most hugging and holding hands.
Paper Doll Monica's love interest, Jordan is eager to flaunt his not-so-good criminal lifestyle to be cool and has a rivalry with others like Daron. His focus should be high school, but he is distracted. This is somewhat a harsher role. Looks 14-18. No kissing or intimacy, at most there would be hugging and holding hands.
Paper Doll Luna's crush, Zayden is an athlete and artist/creative person who is kindhearted and suave/charming yet seemingly out of everyone's leagues. Looks 14-18. Experience playing any kind of sport is not mandatory but would help.
Paper Dolls' manager Lashaun’s college aged cousin and the son of Ray. Very wise and much more mature than his father, he wants what's best for Lashaun and his friends, but his advice is not always taken.
Paper Dolls' manager Lashaun’s not-so-responsible, mysterious uncle. Note: This is a hardcore role. Ray is quite reckless and immature and doesn't give the teens the best advice and influence.
Girls' editor/cameraman/crew. Mature, socially awkward, quiet, reserved, sometimes dry and/or gloomy and sometimes desperate and wanting, but helpful, innovative, and intelligent. Tech savvy and loves S.T.E.M. Carter is the Paper Dolls' one-man-crew. He edits their shows, films them, and helps them carry equipment, bags, or anything else. However, he feels unseen and underappreciated. He keeps to himself often but would appreciate a better social life at home and at school.
The girls' manager. Life of the party, optimistic, dorky, goofy/childish, bubbly, easily influenced. He is a disc jockey or DJ, so having this skill is a plus but not mandatory. Lashaun is the Paper Dolls' manager and friend. He gets them gigs at school to run school events and activities. Lashaun is a loveable dork but craves popularity, which sends him on a dark and distant life course.
Girl’s assistant manager. Considered handsome, friendly/approachable, cool, charming, popular but humble, kind and warm-hearted with a fun and upbeat personality. Sometimes insecure. It's preferred, but not mandatory, that he's able to play sports, specifically football and basketball and possibly an event in track and field.
Rebellious girl who is a friend of the Paper Dolls and wouldn't mind becoming one (if they let her).
Gamer girl and cheerleader who is a friend of the Paper Dolls and wouldn't mind joining them (if they let her).
Paper Dolls' cameraman Carter’s uncle who lives with him but isn’t the most responsible and caring. Note: This is a harsher role.
