Freaky Friday, a new musical based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, is a heartfelt, comedic, and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic. By spending a day in each other's shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another's struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter." Additional info: Auditions: **directors may go later than the time slots listed, but please arrive near the start times so they can make the most of the time. REQUIREMENTS: • It is highly recommended that all auditioning prepare a song (especially those auditioning for a lead). The song does not have to be from the show but should showcase your vocal abilities. • You will also do some vocal exercises with the music directors to test range, intonation, etc… • Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes you can move/dance in and some water to keep you hydrated - you will be learning a portion of choreography. • Be prepared to do multiple readings with others auditioning as well. • Bring a positive attitude and an open mind!
