Voice Actor Auditions for Storytelling Podcast
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Director is producing a storytelling podcast (4 episodes) and looking for 8 voice actors over the age of 21 to help bring the characters to life. Please, see the details below. About the project: Think smutty romance novels (like Danielle Steele), but in audiobook form. Each episode is about 10-12 minutes in length and switches from first person narrative to snippets of dialogue, geared towards women but suitable for anyone over 18. Compares to: Dipsea Stories. In case you’re wondering: While the podcast is super descriptive, uses sexual/coarse language and categorized as adult content, there is no underage or non-consensual storylines - it’s actually quite tasteful. Rate: Paid (please see the rate in the role descriptions). Additional information: Director welcomes actors of all experience levels, but do recommend that you have access to a quality microphone for the best recording results. An aspiring fashion designer who has the talent, but hasn't caught her "big break". She cleans up well and knows how to work the hell out of a room. Her voice is sultry & confident. Main Character, $40 Honorarium, up to 2 hours recording.
A retired baseball star, a man of few words. He's polite, poised, and generous. Despite his fame and fortune, he's quite trusting and relatable, but enjoys luxuries. The type of sugar daddy anyone would want. His voice is deep and calm. Secondary Character, $20 Honorarium, up to 1 hour recording.
