Casting call for “Godspell 2012”, a modern retelling of the original sensation “Godspell," injected with contemporary pop culture and dazzling new arrangements of Stephen Schwartz’s classic score. About the project: Based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, and told through parables and song, a small group of people help Jesus bring together a community by using a wide variety of games, improvisation, and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs ranging in style from pop to vaudeville is employed as the story unfolds, telling a timeless tale that spans countless generations. Rate: There is no pay at this time, but there are also no participation fees or ticket sale requirements for cast members.
