(male presenting) The hero. Young and immature at the beginning of the story, lazy and wild. Begins to find himself when he sees the injustices around him. Confident and a little cocky. Skilled with a sword and bow.
(female presenting) Childhood friend of Robin, niece to Prince John and batrothed of Sir Guy. Smart, headstrong, and capable. She sees the good and knows there is greatness in Robin, though not scared to tease him. Better with a sword and bow than Robin.
(male presenting) The narrator. Happy and cordial. Well spoken and cares for those around him. A sharp tongue when needed, brave and carries a sword he is itching to use to protect the people.
(male presenting) A large man, who carries a quarter staff and knows how to use it. Tough and kind. Lost his wife a time ago. Loyal to Robin and the Merry Men. Often throws people over his shoulder.
(pronounced “Deer-win”) (female presenting) Looks younger than she is. A spitfire and brave. Daughter of Much the Miller. Like a sister to Robin, spurring him on and inspiring him to fight for the people, which gets him into more trouble than not.
(male presenting) The villian. A skilled swordsman. Dangerous and unpleasant, runs things with an iron fist for the Sheriff. Deeply hates Robin and he is betrothed to Marion.
(male presenting) Bumbling and not the brightest, a double act with the more serious Guy. Not a great swordsman. Is a bit of a coward.
(male presenting) Over the top. Thinks he is more clever than he is. Jovial when needed, but this hides his darker side. Coniving to become king and fearful of his brother’s return from the Crusades.
