Audition For Singing in "Into the Woods"

Singers are required for the "Into the Woods" show. Please refer to the details below. About the project: Because of a witch’s curse, a baker and his wife are childless. Three days before the rise of a blue moon, they venture into the forest to find the ingredients that will reverse the spell and restore the witch's beauty: a milk-white cow, hair as yellow as corn, a blood-red cape, and a slipper of gold. During their journey, they meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack, each one on a quest to fulfill a wish. Additional info: Performances: 7:30 p.m. May 10, 11, 16, 17, 18 2 p.m. May 12 Auditioners will sing 16 measures of a Sondheim song. The song does not need to be from Into the Woods but sections of the following songs may be heard for certain roles. Please see the description of roles if you would like to prepare. Bluetooth speakers are available if you would like to use your own device for auditions. For auditions, tracks are available of songs from Into the Woods. Tracks will be used at auditions and will not be emailed or given out before. Length and selection are limited. Piano accompaniment will not be provided. If you are interested please apply.
