LEAD. Dedicated, sarcastic, headstrong. Elliot works the late night shifts at The Red Canary bar. In between these exhausting shifts, she goes home to a relationship that's past its expiration date. She's grown to accept a life she isn't fully happy in, with the burdens of others weighing her down. But, when it seems like her worst nightmare has come to life and she descends into paranoia - she is forced to face her reality and finally find the strength to take her life back.
MALE SUPPORTING. Charismatic, perceptive, warm. Ben works as a firefighter in the city of Boston. He dreamt of doing this job since he was a kid, plastic fire trucks are very different from real ones - and this reality hits him hard when he shows up to his shift one night and is called to put out a fire at his own apartment building. He goes to The Red Canary bar after getting off his shift feeling charred - searching for a drink and a distraction
MALE SUPPORTING. Ignorant, mommy's boy, burnout. Jesse spends his days smoking Colorado strands, listening to underground new-wave artists, and promising his girlfriend and Mom that he's looking for a job; only one of them actually believes him (hint: it's not his girlfriend). He lost motivation for his future after he got booted out of an internship after college. He lives by the saying "take it day by day", but takes it a bit too seriously
