Casting call for Capstone short film "Silent Courage". Seeking deaf actor. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: A film student is seeking a Deaf/Hard of Hearing young man who is fluent in English and ASL to play a Deaf/Hard of Hearing teen in his Capstone short film titled "Silent Dance of Courage". Rate: Unpaid. All cast will be credited, and food will be provided. Directors can help figure out transportation to location if needed. Footage will be provided to actors for their demo reel. Additional info: Filming will take place on January 19-23, 2024. Directors will be filming for five (5) days. They will be filming inside, in both day and nighttime conditions. Possible reshoots on the 24th. This is a non- union, non-SAG opportunity. If you are interested, please apply.
