Rate: Compensation: Total compensation of $500 for the duration of the four-week commitment. Additional information: Responsibilities: - Portray Princess Mulan in a historically accurate and culturally sensitive manner - Interact with kids and provide an immersive experience; - Perform as Princess Mulan for one hour every Wednesday and Thursday in January as well as Friday evening and possibly Saturday morning the final week; - Showcase knowledge of Chinese culture, language, and customs; - Singing skills would be considered an asset Requirements: - Strong Chinese heritage and authentic connection to Chinese culture; - In-depth knowledge of the story and legend of Mulan; - communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese; - Ability to embody the character traits of Princess Mulan, including bravery and loyalty; - Availability for four weeks, two days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays, one Friday evening and Saturday morning); - Flexibility to adapt and engage with children ages 4-8.
