Casting Call for "First Night Out" Thesis Short Film

Lead. Jack likes quiet corners, good books, and his wife, Jess. Recently, he's come to accept that he likes men too. He's not really fond of crowds, but determined to push himself out of his comfort zone, he finds himself at his local gay club, Naked Tony's, with his friend, Sean where, with his wife's encouragement, he's hoping to validate his new self-discovery.

Supporting. Keith loves adventures, fun people, tequila, and drama. Deep down, he'd love a relationship, but he's afraid of rejection so he always ends things before they get too serious. He finds Jack's less-than-impressive dance moves endearing and thinks Jack could be a fun fling for the night.

Supporting. Rob is jaded and stressed. He and his husband are going through a rough time so his friends dragged him out for a night of fun. The last thing he expected to see tonight was his little sister's husband at a gay club with another guy. In classic oldest-sibling fashion, he takes it upon himself to remedy this "problem."

Day player. Physically imposing, but at it only takes two seconds of being with him to see how warm and gentle he truly is. This bear is a bouncer at Naked Tony's, but he's off tonight. Sean has developed a crush on him having been a patron of the club for years. Recently, the bear has started flirting back. When Sean sees him out on the floor for once, he can't help but make a move.
