Duncan, OK, United States
ID: 252171Exp: 12/8/2023
Description:

“The Addams Family" a new musical needs actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. Additional info: WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING: For your initial audition, you will need a 1 minute cut of a song in the style of the show that you love to sing. Please bring an accompaniment track with you. Tracks are easy to find on YouTube, iTunes, musicnotes dot com, or karaoke-version dot com. Just bring your phone and they’ll plug it in! No a cappella auditions accepted. Video auditions will be accepted if necessary. Call backs must be attended in person. Final selected vocal/reading/dance call backs December 12. Please note that not all roles will have a call back audition, so not being invited to call backs does not mean that you will not be cast in the show. REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: A first read through with the cast will be held on December 19. Rehearsals will be most M/T/Th/Fr evenings as well as most Saturdays beginning on January 4. There may be additional short rehearsals on Sunday afternoons if needed. Most cast members will not be called to rehearse every day, BUT must be prepared to attend any rehearsals in which they are called. Upon move-in on February 11, required rehearsals will be held Monday-Friday for all cast members each night until the first performance date. Please come prepared with a list of any conflicts you may have with the rehearsal schedule, including weekends. (Note: No conflicts after February 11.) PERFORMANCE DETAILS: Performances will be held February 23-25 and March 1-2, with required load out on March 3. Cast members are also required to help with set. If you are interested, please apply.
