The company is announcing non-AEA auditions for “Stupid F*cking Bird” Show and looking for performers, please see the details. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: No pay. Additional info: The play is a hilarious, heartbreaking “sort of” adaptation of Chekhov’s “The Seagull,” and there’s not a bad role in the script. The play runs the weekends of March 8th and 17th, 2024, and rehearsals will begin at the end of January. Please apply if interested.

Conrad’s best friend. Earnest, sweet-natured; simple but not stupid. Role requires some light pop/folk singing. Ability to play guitar, bass, and/or ukulele is a plus.
Beloved of Dev, in love with Conrad. World-weary, sardonic. Role requires light pop/folk singing and ability to play ukulele or guitar.
An aspiring actress. A true ingenue. Youthful, a little naïve.
Conrad’s mother. A star of the stage.
Emma’s lover. A famous and highly successful writer, urbane, effortlessly self-confident except perhaps around Emma.
Emma’s brother. Mild-mannered. Philosophical. A bit depressed, but covers it well.
