ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Seeking talent for "I'll Be Back Before Midnight" show. Please, see the details below. Rate: It is a non-profit, non-equity, volunteer community theatre group so all acting roles are not paid positions. Additional information: Rehearsals will start at the end of January. Auditions will consist of a cold read from the script (no need to prepare a piece or memorize anything). Show dates: April 11th to 21st, 2024 in Orillia. The theatre values diversity and inclusivity: They welcome to the auditions any actors who are interested, including those who self-identify as female or non binary. Recovering from a nervous breakdown, Jan comes across as delicate and insecure but also has a defensive air to her character.
Jan’s husband who is a charming and attractive but somewhat distant and matter-of-fact geologist. Although apparently concerned about Jan’s state of mind, he is dismissive and insensitive to her fears.
A very well presented city woman who is Greg’s sister and confidante. She oscillates between sweet/ helpful & conniving/manipulative.
A country bumpkin farmer who is amused by his own gruesome stories. He appears to be everyone’s friend and always ready to help.
