"Life of the Party" Movie Looking For Actors & Extras
Directors are casting an upcoming short film "Life of the Party". Seeking cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: Genre: Drama/Coming of Age Synopsis: Vince, an anxious young adult, is dealing with his first year of college and all the drama that follows suit. Trying to balance family and friends it all comes to a head on the night of ‘his’ birthday party. As the party grows wilder so does Vince’s anxiety, making this night one that he and those closest to him will never forget. Rate: It is a non-paid shoot, but travel compensation can happen. Additional info: Non-union. Actors with theater experience and or background are highly encouraged to apply. This will be a one shot (with hidden cuts) so it should be a technical blocking challenge. (Lead) Vince, a freshman in college, is an anxious guy who only wants to please those around him rather than himself. His family, older brother Mike and younger sister Ada are his world.
(Supporting Lead) Ada is Vince’s younger sister, a caring girl who takes on too much responsibility in the family unit, she is getting ready to head to college next school season.
(Supporting) Jeremy is Vince’s roommate, an entitled guy who is not a great friend.
Directors will also need extras for the film to be engaging in a party scene.
