Actors Sought for Paid Short Film

About the project: Logline: A lonely New Yorker must overcome his isolation by solving the mysterious death of a woman, listening only to her voice haunting him with events from her past. Synopsis: By all appearances, Sam Carpenter is a successful New Yorker, living in the heart of Manhattan. Yet, Sam longs for friends and struggles with depression and isolation. But when he begins hearing a mysterious girl’s voice calling to him, he is drawn into solving her mysterious death, from almost a year ago. In a race to solve the case before the 1 year anniversary of her death, he follows her voice through the streets of New York. As he listens for clues, Sam realizes how much they have in common, and perhaps her death wasn’t so mysterious after all… Rate: Lead actors will be paid $216 / day (under SAG 2020 Short Project Agreement). Supporting actor is unpaid, but only 1/2 day of work || Editor will provide high-resolution film for actor’s reel. $648.00 - 3 days.
