"Romeo and Juliet" Play Looking for Actors
Theater Company is pleased to announce auditions for upcoming production of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Performances will be held on Friday, March 1, 7:30 PM, Saturday, March 2, 7:30 PM, Friday, March 8, 7:30 PM, Saturday, March 9, 7:30 PM, and Sunday, March 10, 2:00 PM. Rehearsals will be held on Mondays and Thursday from 7-9:30 PM, as well as Sundays from 1-4 PM. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled based on need and availability on Fridays from 7-9:30 PM. Not every actor will be called to every rehearsal. Preparation: Please prepare a one-to-two-minute Shakespearian monologue showcasing your acting range and emotional depth. Familiarity with the play is recommended but not required. For those interested, an optional audition workshop will be held by the director on Monday, Dec. 11th from 7-9 PM. Please apply if interested.
