Singers Sought for "The Fantasticks" Musical Show
The company is holding auditions for "The Fantasticks" Musical Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. About the project: The world’s longest-running musical, The Fantasticks is part romance, part fable, part vaudeville, and altogether enchanting. It is a whimsical tale of two fathers who fake a feud in order to unite their children … by keeping them apart. With minimal scenery and maximum imagination, the show tells its story with one of theater’s best-loved scores, featuring songs like “Try to Remember” and “Soon It’s Gonna Rain.” Sixty-three years after its historic opening off-Broadway, The Fantasticks continues to be a one-of-a-kind experience. Additional info: A headshot/picture and resume is appreciated but not required. Please prepare an excerpt (16-32 bars) of a standard Broadway song. (No rock, please!) Accompanist will be provided.
