The elder of the two detectives. Bitter, disillusioned, and willing to drop to case if he feels it’s too dangerous to pursue, due to seeing friends on the force end up dead from getting too deep. He cares for his partner Baker and doesn’t want his career cut short by getting too close to the wrong case.
O’Brien’s partner. Intelligent and competent, more of an idealist, with a strong desire for justice that sometimes overwhelms his sense of self-preservation. This isn’t his first case, but he hasn’t seen enough yet to be as cynical as his partner. This role requires special effects makeup application for one scene (latex, spirit gum, etc).
