Additional info: Story is set in England, and English accents are preferred for all characters. 5 male roles, 4 female roles. Please be prepared for a cold read from the script during auditions. Charming, experienced, flirtatious, manipulative; middle aged tv star with top billing. Dating the younger Garry. Plays the housekeeper in Nothing On (Mrs. Clackett).
Intense, jealous, confident, has trouble finishing a thought if it’s not a line in a script. Dating Dotty. Plays an estate agent in Nothing On (Roger Tramplemain).
Dim, alluring, inexperienced, pays no attention to others; this character is scantily clad for a good portion of the show. Plays a girl Roger is trying to seduce in Nothing On (Vicki).
Assistant Stage Manager for the play Nothing On; earnest, anxious, pregnant with Lloyd’s baby for part of the show.
Dashing, bemused, delicate, fears violence. Plays the homeowner trying to avoid taxes in Nothing On (Philip Brent), as well as a sheikh interested in renting the house (Sheikh).
