Seeking LGBTQIA+ Actors for "Aromcom" Independent Film in DC
Casting males and females for the "Aromcom" independent short film. Please see the details provided below. ONLY MD, VA AND LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: While stranded in a small Icelandic town during a winter storm, a lone traveler is reconnected with their GoPro thanks to a fellow traveler, and they discover they’re both on the asexual and aromantic spectrums. A platonic meet-cute. Rate: $200 per shoot day. Additional info: Flexible on the talent genders; LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC talent encouraged to submit. LOCATION: TBD DMV area. Actors will be needed for at least 2-3 rehearsals prior to the shoot, to be scheduled around their availability. An intimacy coordinator will be on staff. If you're interested, please apply.

(Lead): non-binary, artistic, adventurous, socially awkward, somewhere on the asexual and aromantic spectrums. Ideal if talent has footage that they’d be willing to license to the film of them on past vacations and adventures, and/or working on some sort of art projects. Minimum 3 shooting days.
(Lead): outgoing, nosy, nervous chatter, mechanical engineer, grey-asexual and grey-aromantic. Minimum 2 shooting days.
(Supporting): responsible, teasing, NASA contractor. In a relationship with Trey (PDA-heavy relationship). Minimum 2 shooting days.
(Supporting): jokester, NASA contractor. In a relationship with Brandon (PDA-heavy relationship). Minimum 2 shooting days.
