Artistic Director. Main character, the glue that binds them all together and is in most scenes.
Actor. Handsome “leading actor material”, but recently hit a drought of acting jobs. The Playhouse season is his last gig, he will be going into law school in the fall in pursuit of steadier work, or will he?
Director. Daughter of the college roommate of the one and only financial supporter of The Playhouse. Always looking for the edgier, more modern meanings behind the show, whether they exist or not.
Actor. Young, bubbly, somewhat naïve and a little ditzy, but understands how her body (and how she uses it) can help her acting career.
Actor. The playboy of The Playhouse, tends to play leading roles and loves contributing to the creative process.
Actor. Seasoned actor but new to The Playhouse. Has his own opinions how things should go, but under it all he really is a nice guy.
Actor. Long-time regular of The Playhouse, beloved by all, but forgetful in his senior years, good friends with Daisy.
Actor. Long-time regular of The Playhouse, even-keeled and dependable, good friends with Richfield.
Business Manager. Very precise, a by-the-book personality, who is very concerned about the budget, especially the number of pencils being used.
Stage Manager. Gordon’s long-time stage manager and ex-wife. She helps him keep it real and to see the humor in things.
Designer. Creative personality, long-time friend and colleague of Gordon’s, trying to make “miracles” happen for the director with a small budget.
Theatre apprentice. Working to learn all aspects of theatre both on and off stage, sometimes brilliant, sometimes not.
