"Hollywood Rex" - Seeking Talents
10-minute short film. When an LA punk band gets kicked out of a bar for their wild antics, their bassist, Rex, gets left behind. She's got one night, and one long walk to find a ride, get a charger, and nab a record deal. Shoot days are based on roles. Anywhere from 1-4 days. Exact dates are tentative but will occur in early January.

LEAD. Young 20s. Any ethnicity. Woman or non-binary. Rowdy punk girl like Courtney Love or Poly Styrene. She's young, impulsive, and a little insecure, but tries to hide it behind her punk rock persona. As the bassist in her band, she wants herself and her music to be taken seriously. BIG PLUS if actor can play bass - please note if so. [This role requires partial nudity. Rex pulls her pants down and shows her underwear to the audience. Underwear will be full coverage.] $200/day
SUPPORTING. 30s-40s man. Any ethnicity. A Pete Doherty/Ryan Adams type. He's been in the LA music scene for a while and it shows. He's the band's manager and Rex's "situationship". He'd never admit that it's probably wrong to be sleeping with Rex, but he's aware enough that he prefers to keep it on the low. He's trying to stay relevant in a fast moving industry with a short-term memory. If he can control a band, or a young woman, he can pretend that he's got a handle on his life. $150/day

Lana could be friends with anyone, and she does just that, making friends wherever she goes. Her charm is in her unflappable confidence and commitment to the bit. Whether she's raking in views on TikTok, selling content on OnlyFans, or just making a late night run to Taco Bell, she's fully fabulous. $100/day
SUPPORTING. 50 to 65 year old man. Any ethnicity. This guy was there when dad rock was invented and his style and interests haven't changed much since. Duck owns a Hollywood bar that does pretty well on weekends. He's been booking rock and punk rock bands for as long as the doors have been open. He's seen it all and uses it as an excuse to act like a hot head any chance he gets. $100/day
SUPPORTING. 30-something year old guy, any ethnicity, who probably knows more about music than you. He's the sort of man that makes fun of a teenager on Reddit showing off their first Crosley record player. He's become a regular fixture of the dive bar and gets excited to see Rex, a pretty girl in a Television t-shirt. But of course, he can't just be nice. He has to neg her because that's how you get girls to go home with you. $100/day
