About the project: Shakespeare’s most famous fairies, Puck and Oberon, magically appear on the set of Max Reinhardt’s 1934 film version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and are immediately hired to play themselves. Instantly smitten with Hollywood, they join Olivia DeHavilland, James Cagney, and Dick Powell, but accidentally wreak havoc on the set. SIH is one of Ken Ludwig’s best farces. Rate: AEA Special Appearances Tier 2 contract, non-equity artists all paid a stipend of $500. Additional info: Rehearsals November 1 -29, 2023. Performances November 30 – December 17, 2023. Rehearsal Schedule: Mondays OFF. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 7-10 pm. Saturdays, 1-5 pm. Sundays, 6-9 pm. Performance Schedule: November 30 to December 17.
