About the project: My Daddy's Daughter" is a short film about a young adult named Simone who is the daughter of a drug dealer who recently died. Shortly after her father's passing, Simone's life is threatened and she must come up with 250 thousand dollars that her father owed a man named KT. Simone, her boyfriend Jay, and some friends manage to make the money by selling her father's stash but it isn't as easy as it seems. Rate: This is not a paid film, but you will be credited and food and drinks will be provided! Additional info: Filming will take place in Greenville, NC during the weekend in Early-Mid November but the dates are flexible and will be determined by everyone's availability! Supporting . Simone's boyfriend. He used to be one of Simone's father's most loyal soldiers, but he got out of the drug game before her father died. He is willing to go to extreme measures to make sure Simone is safe and makes enough money to pay KT.
Can be played by an African American male who looks older. Simone's fathers biggest enemy, the person who killed her father. He has now demanded that Simone gets him the $250,000 he killed her father over. He acts tough but is really weak with no army behind him and he wishes he had the drug empire Simone's father (Mike) had.
Can be played by an African American female who looks older. Simone's fathers ex-lover of 15 years. She acts willing to help Simone and Jay find ways to pay KT but she is NOT to be trusted!
They are sisters and two of Simone's lifelong best friends. These sisters are determined to be there for Simone during this hard time. Their mission is to get their brother who is a drug dealer to buy product from Simone's dads stash to help raise the money.
Jay's lifelong best friend and Mike's former soldier. Still in the drug game a little but not as much as he used to be. Determined to help Simone and Jay get KT his money or kill him, whichever one they want to do.
