Acting Job In Film "Nolan the Forest Samurai vs. the Bandits"
Looking for 3-4 actors to participate in a student short film entitled "Nolan the Forest Samurai vs. the Bandits". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: Synopsis: Nolan lives a secluded life in his cabin far from the dangers of modern society. He takes a liking to samurai culture, only to become far too obsessed and deluded into thinking of himself as one. When a group of seemingly normal, rebellious teenagers show up to his cabin, Nolan mistakenly identifies them as the "Bandits". His mission becomes to fully embody his samurai-potential. Does he choose peace or violence in the name of protecting his land? Rate: These are paid roles at a rate of $50-$90 a day, with food, transportation, and housing provided for both days. Additional info: Non union. Dates: October 21st-22nd. Shooting days will be 10-12 hours in length. The crew will provide transportation for any talents located near Grand Rapids, MI. Otherwise, they will reimburse you for gas expenses. The crew will also provide housing, in a really nice cabin with a lake view, on the same property where they're shooting their film. Meals will also be provided and they can accommodate any dietary restrictions. If you are interested in auditioning, please apply for the script and audition instructions.

(Lead). He's a bit sanctimonious, takes himself and others too seriously, and is also lonely and socially awkward. He despises modern western culture and keeps to himself in his secluded cabin. Rate: $90-100/day for 2 days.
(Supporting). The unofficial leader of the "Bandits". Others look up to him, but more so out of fear than respect. He is sarcastic and overconfident. Rate: $50-70/day for 2 days.
(Supporting). Most likely to get picked on. Hangs out with Danny and Aiden because he needs friends. The most sympathetic and reasonable of the group. Rate: $50/day for 2 days.
(Supporting). Danny's yes-man, constantly seeks his approval. Rate: $50/day for 2 days.
