Looking to cast male and female voice talent for the "Sense and Soul" a queer Victorian romance game. Please find more details below. Rate: All roles will be compensated a minimum rate of US$30 for 8 combined soundbites/lines, with additional lines compensated at US$3/line. Additional info: DEADLINE: Tues Oct 3rd at 1:00 PM GMT. Submissions past the audition deadline will not be considered. You may audition for multiple characters if you wish. Primary Character. British – Somewhere south of Shrewsbury, Shropshire Seamus' older sister. Sadie is the eldest of the two Charkham siblings, and often acts as the bridge between her brother and her father. She’s a strong presence and doesn’t suffer fools—even fools she loves! While she enjoys life in the country at Willhaven, their family’s estate, she’s often preoccupied with filling the shoes her mother left behind.
Primary Character. British – Somewhere south of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Father to Seamus and Sadie. Widowed. Though he was once known to be good-humoured, George has struggled to find joy in anything since the estrangement of his son and sudden passing of his wife two years ago. With his daughter’s support, he continues to carry out his duties as the village squire and patron of the parish church, but the bereftness of his family estate is a constant, looming reminder of the happier past.
Primary Character. British Indian CASTING NOTE: LGBT+ British Indian actress preferred Wife of Dr. Everett Lewis. Known for both her strictness and her warmth in her former career as a governess, Ananya now spends her days running her household and keeping her bird-minded naturalist spouse in check.
Background Character. British, London Camilla's Fiancé/Husband. Howard, most people who know him would agree, is a fine young man with a lot of good things going for him. Luckily for Camilla, they also agree he'd make a fine husband. He's earnest, almost to a fault, and his natural wit never fails to make his fiancée—er, wife—laugh.
Background Character. British, London Hugo's older brother. Nathaniel is an upright, uptight, productive member of society. Compared to his carefree younger brother, he cares far more about ensuring the comfort of his parents, wife, and children, and strives tirelessly towards building up the family business as a result.
Background Character. British – Somewhere south of Shrewsbury, Shropshire Seamus' ex-fiancée and childhood friend. Leticia is the picture of the "perfect" lady — or so she'd like everyone to believe. Following the traumatic end of her engagement two years ago, she has built that front up to cope with Seamus' abandonment of her and the insecurities that rushed in with it.
