Actors Audition For Stage Play "Moon Over Buffalo"

Carmel, IN, United States
ID: 245555Exp: 10/2/2023
Description:

Auditions for "Moon Over Buffalo" play. In need of men/women. See the details below. About the project: It’s the summer of 1953, and George and Charlotte Hay, formerly a couple of Broadway stars, have taken their run-down touring company to Buffalo, New York. They intend to run Cyrano de Bergerac and Noel Coward's Private Lives, when they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom: talent scout, Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee! With a plethora of pratfalls, slamming doors aplenty, and backstage shenanigans, Ken Ludwig’s Moon Over Buffalo is a fast-paced, hilarious screwball comedy in the old tradition, a throwback farce, a valentine to the stage, and the larger-than-life personalities that inhabit the world of the theatre. Additional info: Headshots/resumes welcome. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. If you have a prepared monologue you may present it as time allows, but it is not required. Rehearsals will begin in October, with performances on the following dates: Friday, December 8th, 2023 - 7:30 pm Saturday, December 9th, 2023 - 7:30 pm Sunday, December 10th - 2:30 pm Thursday, December 14th, 2023 - 7:30 pm Friday, December 15th, 2023 - 7:30 pm Saturday, December 16th, 2023 - 7:30 pm Sunday, December 17th, 2023 - 2:30 pm If you are interested, please apply.
