Man & Woman Sought for "Friction" Film

About the project: Amateur superhero, FRICTION, faces the consequences of the two masks he wears in his life. The face of a hero, someone who wants to do nothing but help, stopping crimes, helping the injured, and looking cool while doing it. And, the persona he wears to hide his romantic love for his lifelong best friend. When a super villain gets in the way of his confession, he must choose if his friendship is worth ruining over love, or to put her in danger with the truth of his identity. He must decide whether it will be the villain or the girl to be the one who got away. Rate: Non-Union/Unpaid. Additional information: Start Date: TBD. Location: Toronto, ON. Notes for both roles: Costume fittings will be required during rehearsals. May require screen tests together. One brief intimate scene included if talent is willing. Shoot will be 2 days in the PM. 5'8" - 5'11" with dark (preferably black) hair. Flynn is a reserved, young hero that struggles with making decisions and confrontation in his personal life, but has no problem when the mask is on. Flynn is the typical anti-social guy who can't seem to make any connections beyond his childhood best friend, who he's now in love with. When he has his costume on, and is unidentifiable, his confidence boosts beyond his own comfort, becoming comfortable in his life and body.
Aaron is an abrasive young super villain, who rivals Flint at every turn, but secretly loves his alter-ego, Flynn. Half student, half vigilante, Aaron is a hot-headed, neglected friend who wants nothing more than to keep the one person she's had in her life, but seems to be pushing him away at every turn. The anger and sadness comes out in fits of rage when out performing her villainous deeds.
