ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. The production of "20th Century Blues" is currently in search of performers. Please, see the details below. Additional information: Rehearsals to begin 3x in October 2023. Regular rehearsals are expected to be on Wednesday and Friday nights and Saturday Mornings (to be confirmed. All rehearsals will be in Oakville. Sunday, October 1st: 10:00 am- 1:00 pm (Callbacks). Wednesday, October 4th: 6:00 pm- 10:00 pm (Callbacks). Individual audition slots are ten minutes each and must be booked in advance. Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance. Please dress comfortably and familiarize yourself with the play and its characters in advance. - Please prepare one 3-5 minute monologue, from contemporary repertoire; - Those auditioning as a principal should prepare a second, contrasting monologue. - You may also be asked to do a cold read of the text; - For the callbacks, selected actors will be provided with a scene and role to read. Callbacks, if needed, will be set for Sunday, So corner 1, and Wednesday, October 4 6-10 pm. Those asked for a callback will be notified a minimum of 24 hours prior to your callback, and no later than Monday, October 2nd. if you're interested, please apply.
