About the project: Synopsis: After being divorced for five years, Elyot and Amanda are on their honeymoon with their new partners, Sibyl and Victor. The couples find themselves in adjoining suites in a hotel on the coastline of France. In a surprise encounter, they begin a fiery banter and realize they are still passionately in love with each other. Leaving a note behind for Sibyl and Victor, they make haste for Amanda’s flat in Paris. They discover love isn’t enough as matters get quickly heated between them and the war is on. To make matters worse, their spouses arrive amidst utter chaos and demand an explanation. As the battle flares again with the new spouses taking sides, the audience is in for a surprise ending. Additional information: Audition location: Edmonton, AB. As for rehearsals, there are no set times right now as that will be determined based on people's (cast) availability. An attractive, 23-year-old first-time bride, who is great at playing the piano and feels threatened by Elyot's first wife.
Amanda's second husband who is a few years older than Elyot, is very pleased to describe himself as "normal". He enjoys the simpler things in life.
