(male-identifying). An out-of-work actor desperate for a job and a new adventure. Gay, quick-witted, funny, optimistically sarcastic (not bitchy). Much of the role is spent speaking to the audience. Actor also plays ALL roles in the play, including Barbra Streisand. It's important to get the essence of each character across to the audience, rather than attempt a full-on impression.
