Playhouse announces auditions for the hilarious holiday hit "Inspecting Carol". In need of actors. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: SHOW SYNOPSIS: A Christmas Carol meets The Government Inspector meets Noises Off in this hilarious hit from Seattle. A man who asks to audition at a small theater is mistaken for an informer for the National Endowment for the Arts. Everyone caters to the bewildered wannabe actor, and he is given a role in the current production, A Christmas Carol. Everything goes wrong and hilarity is piled upon hilarity. Additional info: HOW TO PREPARE: Actors will read sides from the script. Bring a list of all conflicts between October 23 and December 10. Any absences during rehearsals will affect casting. REHEARSALS: Read-through: Wednesday, October 18, 7:00 - 9:00 PM Rehearsals will begin Monday, October 23 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. No absences will be allowed during the last two weeks of rehearsals. PERFORMANCE DATES: November 30 – December 10, 2023 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 PM. Sunday shows begin at 2:30 PM. Please download the audition form attached. Please enter through the right-side doors at the front of the building. Auditions will be held in the theater.
