The company is holding auditions for Agatha Christie’s "A Murder is Announced" and looking for actors, please see the details below. About the project: An announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock’s Victorian house. The victim is not one of the house’s occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Agatha Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a determined Inspector, and the famous Miss Marple on hand to provide the final solution at some risk to herself in a dramatic confrontation just before the final curtain. Additional info: CALLBACKS: Thursday, August 3, 2023 @ 7:00 pm at the Cary Arts Center. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals begin on Monday, August 7. Rehearsals take place Monday – Thursday evenings, with the potential for Saturday afternoons if necessary. The rehearsal schedule will be based on cast conflicts and will be finalized after casting. TECH REHEARSALS: Begin September 24 and continue through the week until opening night. Attendance required. No conflicts are allowed after September 23.
