Still, at the beginning of the story. he has already taken baby steps. getting more sleep. giving more compliments. But as the story starts, he's now taking bigger steps: he's going to sell his business and propose to Margo.

(SUPPORTING) Articulate. Sharp. David is very well-spoken, capable of convincing people of nearly anything. He has put this talent to good use as the salesman in Jacob's business. They are also roommates and old friends. In demeanour he is flamboyant and charming. but this has affected his personal life where he struggles between being nice to peoples' face and criticizing them as soon as they leave the room.

(SUPPORTING) Friendly, Emotional. Naive. is the first of Margo's affairs, he's a star athlete, physically beautiful with a kind heart. He enjoys the simple pleasures of life: fried foods, bad tv and unoriginal opinions. His wisdom about the world is largely confined to things his coach has taught him during game warm ups for basketball.
