Paid Artists Sought for Season 2023-24

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are calling for artists for theater Season 2023-24. Please, see the details below. Rate: Artist fees are approx. 30-50% higher than equity rates (the artist fees range from $850 – $1200 per week). Out of town residencies also include accommodation and per diems. Additional information: Preference will be given to artists that can go on 1-3 week tours leaving from Calgary or Edmonton. All the work takes place in Alberta. Most artists typically work 8-26 weeks a year (depending on their availability), for 5-10 years. These projects are week-long residencies taking place throughout Alberta. Each one is based on a unique theme chosen by the school. Each artist will support classes in creating theatre pieces based on the chosen theme. When applying, please submit resumes with cover letter.
