About the project: Dead End follows a day in the lives of a group of drug users who are forced to re-examine their own addictive behaviors when an older friend of theirs dies from an overdose. A funny, street-smart, small-time weed dealer. A social creature, and total extrovert, he loves meeting and engaging with all different kinds of customers. Alex is facing a dilemma around the responsibilities of his line of work as he gets older, and the people buying from him seem to skew younger and younger everyday. He is Jane's (one of the other protagonists) best friend.
