Casting Singers for "The Prom" Show
Looking to cast male and female performers and singers for "The Prom" theatre show. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Four fading Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town Indiana prom—and the press is involved—they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. Now, Broadway’s brassiest are coming to join the fight and they are ready to kick-ball-change the world. Rate: All roles are paid a weekly stipend at a $150 minimum. Additional info: See the attachment for the sides and other info. Callbacks will take place in person on June 24, 2023, from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare ONE vocal selection either from the show or from a show of a similar style (contemporary, pop, etc.). please also prepare ONE of the pre-selected sides for the character you would like to be considered for. If you would like to be considered for multiple characters, please only select ONE side for the audition submission. You may still be called back for multiple tracks. There will be a dance call for those invited to callbacks and an optional dance reel submission with your audition.
