Acting Job for Paid Short Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Seeking actors for a multi-screen video installation project for an art gallery exhibition. See the details below. Rate: $220/day (two of the shoot dates are evening/night shoots, for those needed during this period, pay is time and a half). LEAD: needed for 8 days. A young scholar; he lives completely in his head; an event at his professor's summer cottage makes him reevaluate his path.
LEAD: needed for 10 days. A young man who lives in a quiet cabin; he is most at ease in nature; an experience at his brother's house makes him reconsider his path.
Supporting, needed for 2 days. A college professor; affable, concerned for his phd candidates.
Supporting, needed for 2 days. Colleagues of 'Spaceman' at university; they are scholars or phd candidates; they are bookish but mellow.
Supporting, needed for 3 days. The Players are a group of seven people who make up a small theatre troupe; they rehearse and stage a small 'play' within the short film; the play is mostly movement and gesture; one of the players is needed for a 4th day. Dance and/or movement background appreciated.
